Shaka

When it comes to food, OKC is pretty diverse, but thanks to Patton Simpson we’re about to have a Hawaiian experience like no other. After moving to Oklahoma from Honolulu, Hawaii, Patton served as manager and chef of notable restaurants across the metro from Paseo Grill, to KD’s, to Musashi’s Japanese Steakhouse. Patton told us the dishes served at Shaka will be, “that little something at the end of your bite that has you going back for more.”

His extensive culinary background and Hawaiian heritage has led him to create a menu with subtle hints of tradition, a take on local meals, and seafood set in a fusion of Japanese, Italian, and Pacific Island accents. Shaka, meaning hang loose is a fresh approach on a cultural experience we know our city will love.
